This is NIFTY Future based strategy Trend following. Where the BOT takes automatic Buy or Short position on NIFTY Future. This strategy can be automated with three Brokers i.e. Aliceblue, Mastertrust and IIFL for now, as and when we integrate other brokers will update you all.
The strategy has StopLoss and Trailing StopLoss built-in using ATR
Strategy:
The strategy is developed to follow the trend of NIFTY, it Buys NIFTY future if the trend is upward, and it shorts NIFTY Future when the trend is downward. The entry and exit is completely automated and no action is required from the trader's end.
The bot shall continue to hold one position, either Buy or Short i.e. If the bot exits from Buy, then it enters into Short position and if it exits from Short position, it enters into Buy position.
This strategy can be automated with Aliceblue, Mastertrust and IIFL for now, as and when we integrate other brokers will update you all.
Margin:
This is a positional strategy hence margin is approximately 2L, please maintain this margin to continue to trade and to avoid any error in execution due to margin shortfall.
Target and SL Logic:
The strategy doesn't have any specific target or stoploss or trailing stoploss. It follows the trend till the trend reverses, hence the target is open and stoploss is also open. However historically its seen that the loss is only high if there is a Gap up or Gap down against the trend.
Please ensure you maintain the required margin to avoid discontinuity during drawdown phase.
